I just can’t seem to get into the workout on BodyRockers, since Zuzana Light is no longer doing them. I started to go back and look at the old ones and lets face it there are allot to choose from. However I need not have worried because she’s back with a new Channel on YouTube.com, Facebook and Twitter! :)

Bodyrocker 5

Because I have no equipment I have to find workout routines that involve just my body wait. Luckily there is no shortage on Bodyrock.tv :)

Yesterday, I found this one

and this morning I completed it as follows:

first 5 mins
Push up withJump to the side 3/4/3/2/2/2
Plank Elbow Knee Raise 5/3/6/2/5/6/4 – of which two were full form.

3 mins count down
Side to Side Squats
power ups 6/6/6/4/6/6

Side Crunches 8/5/7/8/8/6

And then look at the bottom the link page there is a warm down and it’s very good.

Physical Measurements

OK this was embarrassing, even though I was alone.

Arms at the Bi-cept 15inches a piece.
Legs at the thigh 25inches
Waist 42
Belly at largest point 50inches.

Alot to do.

I’m 18.5 stone with no clothes on, 19 stone with clothes on.

February 15th is my Birthday.
My goals are, to have reduced my weight to a sustainable 16.5 stone.
Increase my arms to 17 inches
Reduce my belly to 56 inches and my
Thighs by 1inch

Bodyrockers 4

Ok so Day 4 did not go aswell as first 3 days, probably because I drank enough coffee yesterday to keep an Elephant awake, So I did not sleep until too late and then didn’t get up on time, and then everything else was off. Have to say am sore today.

So when I got up, I did 500 steps on the spot and 20 push up, then rushed off into the shower and off to work.

I only had lunch today as couldn’t get time to eat – really I need to plan my meals better.

I got home at 6pm did another 10 push ups and some running on the spot. Just a few mins.

(I share a house and room is above the TV room, when my house mate (a girl) just split from BF, not a time to disturb the soaps.)

And later another 20 push ups.

All push ups were half form.

Course then I had a can of beer and now I’m going to bed, that won’t help. :(

I was looking at a new routine this evening too, so I’m looking forward to giving it a go.

Day 5’s Exercise program.

It says it here, now I have to do it.

BodyRockers 3

After doing the stretching this morning I was still quite sore and tight in particular my neck felt kind of stiff, so I repeated yesterdays routine with a few little changes. Turned off the timer, thought it was more important that I finish than what time I did it in, besides there was no way I was going to beat yesterdays time. :)

Today, I did:

500 High Knees
30 Leg Raises – into Crunch with Legs apart – butt raise
200 Low Jump Jacks (split into 4 sets if 50 reps)
40 half form push ups, split into 4 sets of 10 reps. Each set I completed between the Jump Jack sets
Front Plank held for 30 seconds and then about 5 seconds. :)
250 Scissor Jumps
10 leg raises per leg

Stretch and warm down.

Breakfast.

1 small mueli yougart
1 Cup of Coffee
2 pints of water
6 inches of French Bread, with Ham and a scrape of butter

I can hardly lift my arms and my legs are a little jumpy which I think is brilliant. :)

BodyRockers 2 – Stretching

I’m feeling rather tight today, I know cause of yesterdays exercise, have to Stretch and maybe do a litte bit more exercise, really try and get into a routine of doing a 20 minute program every day.

Basic Stretch Routine

I found this basic Stretching Routine on Bodyrockers, simple but effective… well thats assuming I’ve done it right. I discovered this morning while reviewing yesterdays video demo that I was doing leg apart crunch and butt lift, when I should have been doing leg raise, leg apart crunch and butt lift. Oh well, I’ll keep at it.

I’m glad I can do these inside, theres fine Irish Weather about…. Rain, Heavy Rain! :)

Starting BodyRockers Today

I’ve been following bodyrockers.tv for some time now, watching, trying to motivate myself to get going. Well today I finally am.

So I have my interval trainer app on my iphone.

Enough space in my new room.

And just weighed myself…..19 Stone! I should be 15.5stone at most. I’m a little shocked. But time will help me resolve this.

Day 1
Almost killed me, I actually fell asleep almost immediately on completing the work out. Probably not ideal, but I’m determined to succeed this time.

The proper workout was called “Get Hot Cardio Workout”, and can be found on

I had to alter it as I don’t have a pull up bar or any fitness. But it was great and grilling and I feel great now.

OK so the workout is:
500 high knee (Running on the spot)
30 crunches moving into 30 leg lifts
500 low jacks
25 side planks
500 scissor jumps
25 leg raises on the pull up bar (No momentum or swinging)

My version
500 high knee (Running on the spot)
30 crunches moving into 30 leg lifts
200low jacks
25 side planks
200scissor jumps
14 dual leg raises holding legs 2 inches from the ground for 30 second interval.

I took a break between each exercise and broke the sets up into do-able blocks of 50 and 100.

Should say that 13 years ago I had one of my lungs of for a tumor. Since then I have developed pretty sever respiratory disorder. So I go pretty light headed during the workout, but loved every minute of it.

Not doers, nope academic talkers, I would like to say that this was the first and last meeting of that club! lol

Take 2

Ok so it’s been a few years between posts.

I did not get fit the last time, I got a job, then I got lazy, from a fitness perspective – Told myself I had to focus on the new job! What an excuse, anyway to cut to the chase, I hired a fitness trainer this time.

Since I last did this I developed a rather nasty strain of Asthma, or as the doc tell me, I probably always had it, it’s just gotten worse. :( erg. Anyway now I’m on drugs for that to stop me from coughing!

I’m kind of hoping that it will get better the fitter I get.

It’s all the rage these days, so I looked for one that I knew would inspire me, I hire the fabulous Bogie Kanti. Anyway, today was day one, I currently weigh 18 stone even.

Bogie is from Hungary and is super fit, you know not “Gym Fitness Instructor Fit” but actually ripped! This morning we jogged around the city, well when I say jogged, Bogie Jogged/ran circles round me literally, I tottered, walked and generally bumbled along behind her like the totally unfit, lardy I am right now. There is something rather unnervingly fit about Bogie as I’m struggling to keep going she was all but skipping. If she were blue I’d have called her smurfette!

It was brilliant. I have to say for how hard it was, it wasn’t at the same time! I feel great now. :) Worth every penny.

I just lost 50 euro!

I am so annoyed I lost €50 this morning, by this morning I mean, I remember having it in my pocket this morning and now it is not there!
